Refund & Cancellation Policy

Upon completing a Transaction on CodeUrDream (www.codeurdream.com), you are entering into a legally binding and enforceable agreement with us to purchase the educational workshop and/or service. Because our interactive coding workshops and group sessions require strict slot planning and seat allocation, please read our cancellation and refund guidelines carefully.

⚠️ Important Notice Regarding Group & Cohort Sessions

Workshop sessions are formed by grouping multiple students together with a dedicated mentor and strictly limited batch capacity. When an enrollment is confirmed, that slot is permanently reserved and removed from the public portal. Backing out of a confirmed group batch is strictly non-refundable, as late drop-outs disrupt the entire cohort schedule and cause slot loss.

1. Group Sessions & Workshop Cohort Policy

  • No Refunds for Confirmed Cohorts / Active Workshops: Once a group workshop batch is finalized or once Day 1 has commenced, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances if a student backs out or misses classes.
  • Complimentary Batch Rescheduling: If a student cannot attend the scheduled workshop due to a documented personal emergency, parents may request a one-time batch transfer to the next upcoming workshop cohort, provided notice is sent at least 24 hours prior to Day 1.

2. Advance Cancellation Fee Breakdown (Before Batch Finalization)

If a parent requests a cancellation well in advance (at least 48 hours prior to the workshop start date and before cohort seats are locked):

Deduction Breakdown on a ₹999 Workshop Enrollment:

  • Workshop Fee Paid: ₹999
  • Non-refundable Payment Gateway Fee (Instamojo ~2% + ₹3 + 18% GST): Non-refundable by third-party payment processors.
  • Administrative & Seat Allocation Charge: Covers transaction handling and schedule modification overhead.
  • Total Non-Refundable Processing Charge: Flat ₹99
  • Eligible Refund Amount to Parent: ₹900 (credited to original payment method)

*Note: Payment gateway providers (Instamojo, banks) do not refund their transaction processing fees and GST upon refund initiation. The flat ₹99 deduction covers these mandatory non-refundable operational costs.

3. Cancellation or Rescheduling by CodeUrDream

If an entire workshop or session is cancelled or postponed by CodeUrDream due to unforeseen instructor illness, technical disruptions, or emergencies, parents will be given the choice between:
• A prioritized slot in the rescheduled replacement batch, OR
• A 100% full refund with zero deductions.

4. Refund Processing Timelines & Methods

  • All approved eligible refund requests are initiated within 24 to 48 hours of verification.
  • Refunded funds are routed back strictly to the original Payment Instrument used during payment (UPI, Net Banking, or Debit/Credit Card).
  • Depending on the customer's bank or UPI provider, the credited amount reflects in your account within 5 to 7 business days.
